IRENE RASPOLLINI

ARTIST

Irene is a full time professional artist born in Siena, Italy, the 14th of August 1982. Self taught painter, she developed her skills during years of experimentation.In 2024 she realized the stendhard for the 128° Balestro del Girifalco, a renowned medieval cross-bow tournament held in Massa Marittima, Italy. On the same year, has been seleced to realize the prize for the 70th Premio dei Tabernacoli in Siena .

Her work has been exhibited in Italy, UK, Mexico, China, Taiwan, Russia, USA and Austria and features in public and private collections all over the world.

WORKS

Irene's research is mainly focused on the power of portraiture and the relationship between humans and nature: both her abstracts and figurative works take their first steps from the human body to develop an artistic language whose foundations are a symbolic use of patterns and colours, botanical elements and a deep narrative dimension.
